Otter Pool work for 2011

New works planned for 2011 in this Lodge, Robin the owner tells us he is seeking planning consent for Otter Pool Lodge to extend the kitchen and add a further bedroom. More news will hopefully follow in 6 months. The extended kitchen will allow for greater dining area and larder space At the same time we will be able to add some further ventilation to the bedroom.

Some great customer moments have been :-

Guests have lain in the spa bath open to outside and seen an Osprey ON THE DECK less than 10 yards away.

Guests standing on the deck have seen a fisherman catch a salmon in front of them.

Also viewed have been Red squirrels seen in the woods almost every day except late spring. And others have loved a picnic, a swim, or a walk to the river’s shingle ‘beach’ which is less than a 3 minute walk. Nothing better than a BBQ down there for lunch.

Robin wishes to thank all previous guests who have helped to mould the Lodge into a better functioning Lodge, with out your comments and thoughts he would not be able to keep adding and changing the Lodge to suit everyone, and also all those still to come who he hopes have a fantastic time at Otter Pool, he has also added that the check in time for this Lodge is now 4pm.
